The breakfast spread was very very good with fresh fruits and juices. The hotel is in a marvelous and perfect location, near a food store and within walking distance to Apple Park.

The complementary breakfast was pretty amazing and had a lot to choose from! I loved that you could make your own waffles... And I love the mini Keurig in my room!
I think the rooms color schemes needed to be updated, the Red wall and the orange/yellow-ish comforter really clashed and made the room seem very unwelcoming. Even the picture that was hanging on the wall above the bed didn't go well with the room and I think just those little cosmetic touches would make a huge difference of the overall feeling of the room if they were changed to a more neutral tone.

Great fruit juices and eggs supplied. Huge and new-fashioned rooms with particularly good views. Marvellous and perfect location close to San Francisco and easy access to shopping centers and a supermarket.

This place is a charming and fancy little accommodation nestled in a perfect location, just a stone's throw away from great restaurants and Apple Park 🌳.

Sheets had stains on them. Staff didn't understand why I had a problem with it then didn't want to change the entire bed linens. Had to pretty much demand they be changed before he agreed. Bathroom floor had something slippery all over. Old facility. Had thermostat that controlled nothing. Think it was for show.

The room was newly renovated with great beds and amenities like coffee and an iron. the inn is conveniently located near various restaurants, Cupertino, Great America, shopping areas, and eateries. - It is just 1 mile away from Golfland USA.

Nothing really. The breakfast was the only redeeming feature of this "inn". Actually, this place would more accurately be described as a "motel". (something along the lines of a really crappy Motel 6)
I was in Sunnyvale for a work trip. I was booked into this hotel for four nights initially since the trip was scheduled quite late and nothing else was available. The pictures make the "inn" look a lot better than it really is. Once you get there, it becomes apparent that everything is dirty and outdated. I imagine this building was constructed 30 or 40 years ago and that it has not been updated since. For example, the elevator has no "memory". It is only capable of storing one floor to go to at once. So, if you get in the elevator with someone else and you are on a higher floor, you have to wait until they get out to push your floor number. In any case... The rooms have a funny smell, there is no overhead light in the main room area (just two crappy lamps with halfway broken lampshades). The cooling/heating unit is inside of the room and is VERY noisy. Housekeeping was kind enough to leave two pairs of earplugs on the nightstand for me to use. When I checked out, I asked for an invoice with a specific address on it. The invoice they gave me did not actually have that address. (I also had to wait 5 minutes at the front desk until somebody checked me out in the morning -- highly inconvenient if you need to be at the office by a certain time) I ended up staying in two other hotels in the area during this trip. First, at the Row Hotel, which is in San Jose. Then, I stayed one night at the Domain Hotel (coincidentally, right across the street from the Cherry Orchard Inn). Both establishments had LOWER prices and were of a much HIGHER quality. I cannot recommend Cherry Orchard Inn at all. It should be avoided at all costs! (if you are unfortunate enough to stay here, do yourself a favor and read up on California Civil Code section 1863)
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
